If you do a bit of digging, you will realise that what most people see and hear online is a narrative which is being actively orchestrated and controlled. This is spilling into real life too and people are actually censoring themselves and each other.
This post looks at censorship and control, giving examples close to home in Edinburgh and in areas such as Healthcare and Research and considers how we can counter this.
Influence is exerted via the likes of government “nudge” groups, covert military (such as 77th Brigade), tech companies, social media, and all traditional media channels. A growing Censorship Industrial Complex includes the fact checkers such as Full Fact, Trusted News Initiative, the BBC, Centre for Countering Digital Hate and Wikipedia amongst many others.
The evidence of censorship is substantial and irrefutable and in most recent times, Twitter file revelations, whistleblowers and undercover reporting such as project Veritas are examples amongst many which have demonstrated it. The Pandemic and Covid situation saw an exponential rise in the censorship, propaganda and control over all information or individuals delivering results or ideas which differed from the main story.
At the moment voices who have been censored, silenced and shut down by the mainstream, are able to have their say through independent channels and alternative media platforms. But you have to go looking, and know where to look, in order to know about this. And we have to wonder how things might look for the future of even these independent channels for free debate and speech as legislators seek to ever tighten the restrictions on what we are allowed to say, share, read or even think.
Below are a few interesting cases highlighting what is going on, and how for now anyway, aspects of free speech and truth seeking are fighting back.

Censorship in Edinburgh
In August 2023 a sell-out Fringe Comedy Show was cancelled with only 2 days notice by the venue hosting it. The venue “Leith Arches” found out that one of the show’s 4 performers was comedy writer Graham Lineham (Co-writer of Father Ted). Because of his criticism of new gender ideologies, Mr Lineham has been vicitimised and condemned aggressively by various minority groups over the last 5 years. He has been repeatedly cancelled and all of this has, by his own account, caused devastating irreparable damage to his private and professional life. In a blatant move against freedom of speech, the venue, ironically stating that they were “inclusive” said that they did not want him there because it would “violate their space” and that they were cancelling the whole show. When Portobello parents tried to organise a public meeting to discuss their concerns with education, sexualisation, gender politics and other issues affecting their children, they had great difficulty in organising a venue which would allow them to have this meeting. They were effectively banned from being allowed to hold their meeting in a number of venues, because of the topics they wanted to explore.
The Quaker Meeting House in Edinburgh was previously a regular hired venue for talks held by the “Common Knowledge” Edinburgh Group. Common Knowledge has a solid code of ethics and runs under a constitution which include high moral standards. It attempts to be a very inclusive group, welcoming and open to all, facilitating talks and discussions and sharing knowledge and experience. However, in April 2023 the venue banned a talk by people who had been injured by vaccines, although they did have certified medical proof, and were talking about their own personal experiences, the venue would not allow this to take place. The Quaker Meeting House has since banned all future talks organised by Common Knowledge. Subsequent Common Knoweldge group talks have also had great difficulty finding a venue. The venues agree to host the meeting and then after the event is publicised, the venues appear to be the target of a smear campaign and withdraw their availability.
The public screening of a documentary film at an Edinburgh University venue was effectively shut down by a small group of protestors, hiding their faces and using aggressive tactics to physically prevent anyone from gaining access to the venue. This mob tactic using force was effective in censoring freedom of speech. The film topic explored the meaning of gender in relation to the adult human female, a topic which seems to give some people the idea they have the right to use aggression against others wanting to explore different ideas and facts.
MSP Joanna Cherry’s May 2023 successful legal challenge against her cancellation by the Comedy Stand in Edinburgh, demonstrated that it is possible to challenge censorship.

Subsequently in 2020, he cofounded the Front Line COVID-19 Critical Care Alliance (FLCCC) to save lives of COVID patients, developing and publishing one of the most comprehensive and effective protocols for treating COVID-19.
Despite a stellar career up to that point, the sin of insisting on early treatment for COVID-19, and sharing that information with the public, resulted in him being vilified, discredited and ultimately forced to resign.

The New Media Stars
A plethora of popular independent journalists is rising up. Even “ordinary folks” such as Richard Vobes, Tamora Yuille and John Campbell, have gained significant followings for their videos, exploring the questions and important topics, studiously ignored by the mainstream.
The globalists weren’t expecting these people and others such as Joe Rogan and Russell Brand to gain massive popularity and public attention, allowing them to disrupt and question the narrative in such a significant way. They explore many ideas that sound far-fetched — like a social credit system — and how these have already been implemented in other countries, like China.

Michelle Stiles reviews some of the basic tools of propaganda, which is the topic of her book, “One Idea to Rule Them All: Reverse Engineering American Propaganda.” It’s a pertinent and apt topic in light of what’s been going on over the last few years, as we attempt to understand how we’ve been manipulated and brainwashed.
By the early 1900s — literally a century ago — journalists like Upton Sinclair and George Seldes were discussing the corruption of the media, how they were owned by big business with a profit agenda, and how they were not dealing squarely with investigative reporters. For propaganda to be effective, there needs to be central coordination of narratives, and that’s where public relations agencies come in. Few appreciate the power that these companies have. Two-thirds to 80% of the content broadcast and published by corporate media comes from public relations firms, so most of the so-called “news” is actually brainwashing propaganda.
Other common PR tools include “public protests,” which are actually made up of people hired by the PR company, and media will of course be sent there to cover it, and front groups, which are paid by industry to promote a particular view that benefits that industry
