Respond by 1 Mar to Government’s new “Consultation on draft legislation to support identify verification.” Here’s how (and why):
If you are not aware of the huge and looming danger to our lives from the imposition of digital identity systems, then it is worth doing some further research from the links at the end of this page. This “consultation” has barely been publicised, and the time to complete it is extremely short – both of which are rather alarming. Government is trying sneak these life changing acts and statutes through without a chance for discussion, reflection or most people knowing much about it. We need to voice our non agreement with these policies, otherwise legislation will be put in place without proper awareness or agreement. Suffice to say that digital ID is also tied in with full digital surveillance, data gathering and full control of our digital money. Once enacted, then we as individuals will have inadvertently handed all our rights and freedoms away to governments and private corporations and once they have this level of control, it will be very difficult to get it back. This is already happening in parts of the world, where complete and growing dictatorship is the end result.
Information from The Together Declaration
The Together declaration was first formed in response to what arguably amounted to an attempt to force mandatory Digital ID on the public, in the shape of “Covid Pass.” In this area, the Government’s new “Consultation on draft legislation to support identify verification” may sound reassuringly boring – but in fact what is proposed appears to pose huge, unnecessary risks to citizens, even down to kids as young as 13.

BIG BROTHER WATCH: GUIDANCE ON RESPONDING TO CONSULTATION ON THE GOVERNMENT’S DIGITAL ID VERIFICATION SYSTEM BY MARCH 1st
The UK government has announced a proposed digital government identity verification system under the banner ‘GOV.UK One Login’. This new system will replace the number of existing ways we log into government websites to access public services online. It could give the government a blank cheque to share the personal information of millions of users between government departments.
The consultation itself is a highly loaded questionnaire and so rather than respond to this and risk misinterpretation of questions and answers, it is better to write directly expressing your views in the clearest and strongest terms. Your views will have to be taken into account, even if you have not used their own forms.
SEE THIS LINK FOR AN OUTLINE SUGGESTED TEMPLATE LETTER AND HOW TO RESPOND
Please ACT NOW, before 1st March Deadline!
